Notification Features
- Class Reminders: Receive advance alerts before your scheduled classes commence, giving you ample time to head to the lecture room.
- Task Deadlines: Get timely notifications for upcoming assignment due dates and project submissions.
Enabling Notifications
- Navigate to Settings.
- Locate the Class & Task Reminders toggle and switch it ON.
- If prompted by Android (on Android 13 or newer), tap Allow to grant notification permissions.
Tips for Reliable Notifications
On certain Android devices (such as Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung, or Oppo), aggressive battery saver modes may suppress background alarms. To ensure reliable alerts:
- Go to your phone's Settings › Apps › ClassMate › Battery and select Unrestricted or No Restrictions.
- Ensure Do Not Disturb mode permits high-priority alarms if studying late.
