This Privacy Policy explains how Kolibri (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use LikePDF, an Android application for reading and managing PDF documents. LikePDF is developed by Kolibri.
1. Information LikePDF processes
LikePDF is designed to work primarily with files selected by you on your Android device. Depending on the feature you use, the app may process:
- PDF files that you open, read, search, rotate, delete pages from, merge, split, or convert;
- image files that you select for conversion to PDF;
- file names, file locations, document page counts, and other basic file information needed to display and process your documents;
- recent-file information stored on your device to help you reopen documents.
2. How document files are used
Your selected PDF and image files are processed on your device to provide LikePDF features. LikePDF does not send the contents of your documents to Kolibri servers. Files are not used for advertising, profiling, or training.
When you use Android’s file picker, Android controls access to the files and you choose which files LikePDF can read. When you save or export a result, the output is written to the destination described in the app, such as Documents/LikePDF docs or DCIM/LikePDF Image.
3. Recent files and local settings
LikePDF may store recent-file references and basic preferences locally on your device. This information is used only to provide features such as Recent Files and to remember app settings. It is not transmitted to Kolibri. You can remove local app data through Android settings or uninstall the app; removing app data may also remove locally stored preferences and recent-file records.
4. Advertising and third-party services
LikePDF may display advertisements using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, diagnostic information, ad interactions, and advertising preferences in accordance with their own policies and the settings available on your device. This processing may be used to deliver, measure, and improve advertising.
LikePDF does not sell your PDF or image content. Any data collection or sharing performed by an advertising SDK is subject to the applicable Google policies and must also be reflected in the LikePDF Data safety declaration on Google Play.

5. Information LikePDF does not request
LikePDF does not require an account and does not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, or precise location for its core PDF features. LikePDF does not maintain a user profile or a server-side document library.
6. Sharing documents
If you use the Share feature, Android displays the system sharing interface and sends the document to the app or service you choose. The receiving app’s handling of the document is governed by that app’s own privacy policy. LikePDF does not control or take responsibility for the privacy practices of third-party apps selected by you.
7. External links
LikePDF and this guide may contain links to the Kolibri website and other external websites. Opening an external link takes you outside LikePDF. Those websites may collect information under their own privacy policies, which you should review separately.
8. Data retention and deletion
Document files remain in the locations selected or created by you until you move or delete them using Android or another file-management tool. Local recent-file references and settings remain on the device until they are cleared by you, the app data is cleared, or LikePDF is uninstalled. Because LikePDF does not maintain a server-side document account, there is no LikePDF account or cloud document store to delete.
9. Security
LikePDF relies on Android’s application and file-access controls and limits document access to files selected through supported Android file access mechanisms. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so users should keep Android and their device security controls up to date and avoid opening files from untrusted sources.
10. Children’s privacy
LikePDF is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used with the app, please contact that service and contact us so we can review the concern.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when LikePDF’s features, advertising services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a new version is published. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
